This is a long one so bare with me but I could really use some help. I started TTC about 7 months ago when my birth control was removed. I went to my ObGyn and she ran blood work and told me I was slightly insulin resistant. My ovaries worked fine just to take metformin and I should get pregnant in 2 months. I did exactly as she said took the metformin, prenatal vitamins and some other vitamins that I needed like clock work. I even purchased ovulation kits, pre seed lube and vitamins for my hubby. I did not get a period. I went to the doctors again and she said I’m not pregnant did a urine and blood test. These are my next steps.

- take provera 10 mg once a day for 10 days or until I start bleeding.

- start bleeding take clomid 50 mg once a day cycle day 3-7.

- days 8-11 I take estrodiol 1 mg 3 tabs AM and PM

- days 12 only take it in the AM

- day 12-17 I insert progesterone 200 mg tabs vaginally. Stop this if I start my period or I’m 12 wks pregnant.

Meanwhile having sex every other day cycle day 10- 18.

Then come back for a progesterone test to see if I ovulated on cycle day 21.

I used to ovulate normally before I took metformin.. I don’t know if I should follow blindly or if I should seek another opinion. I could really use some other people’s opinions!
