Going back on pill/birth control to conceive!?

I've heard a few people say that doctors have put them back on the pill / birth control for a month or two in order to regulate their hormone levels and therefore catch easier... is there any truth to this? Has it worked for anyone?

Birth control does not “treat” irregular cycles. Going on the pill does not “help regulate” your cycles. Once you stop taking it, your cycles will eventually go back to how they were before birth control, and can even cause it to be more irregular.
In some cases, a doctor my recommend something like taking the mini pill for only 1-3 days after your period to help prompt ovulation, but this is something you should discuss with your doctor.
If you have irregular cycles or are not ovulating, look into Vitex and Myo-Inositol and discuss with your doctor.

Don’t do it!!! Birth control will not help you regulate your cycles and catch faster as you don’t ovulate on any birth control! Ask for metformin if your cycles are irregular get you bloods checked

Don’t take mini pill or any other birth control to help regulate cycle or ovulation as you don’t ovulate when on birth control or have a real period on any birth control as they are called withdrawal bleed. Birth control stops ovulation
