When to test

I got my birth control out yesterday. My fiancé works a rotating shift out of town so he’s only home half the month. I will occasionally be able to travel to him. We already started BD yesterday as my doctor encouraged us to. Should i start testing in 2 weeks or 4? Please no after missed period comments as i DID NOT have a period the whole time i was on BC.

I would test in 4 weeks because you might not ovulate until 2 weeks after you are off the birth control. Good luck!!!

I would recommend ordering some ovulation tests off of amazon so you can get an idea of what your cycle is like and when it regulates again. It’s hard to say when to test since we have no way of knowing when you’ve ovulated or if you’ve ovulated yet.

Test in exactly two weeks from the date you had sex and if negative just wait till you get a period or test once every two weeks! You need to be checking for ovulation ASAP also to confirm ovulation. I didn’t get a period or a positive ovulation test till four months after stopping birth control and had no periods while on birth control either so it may take a while too
