Anyone ever went into labor w/o symptoms?

Question

37 weeks 3 days. I currently have no symptoms or laboring, a few cramps here and there but where my thumb is in the pic below is where baby is. She was higher but now my upper belly is all soft squishy and where my thumb is hard and where I feel her movements at. What does it mean she is that low but I have no other symptoms that I see ppl stating they have before they starting contractions or water broke. FTM here

I never had contractions. At 38 weeks my water broke at 7am the same day I was being induced at midnight later due to high BP (not quite preeclampsia). There were tornadoes and bad weather all morning and I guess the barometric pressure affected me. I was not dilating fast enough after admission and started Pitocin after a while which was awful. After 6 hours and only 2cm dilation I asked for the epidural. I was in labor for 29 hours total if I count from when my water broke. I spent a day in the hospital then finally got going the next morning and had baby at 10 am. We both had fever PP and had to be on IV antibiotics and stayed a week but healthy otherwise.

It sounds like baby dropped which is good but isn't a sign of anything really just baby getting into position. With my 1st I had group b so I had to deliver within 18 hours of my water breaking. I had no signs of anything. Was hungry and touched the fridge. Felt like I peed so I checked it. It was a little sticky and pink. Called my husband who was at work and called the triage nurse. She said to come in to get checked. So hubby gets home and we head in. I don't feel a thing. I am over the moon excited! The triage nurse takes one look at me and tells me she is positive I will be sent home. She takes the swab to check if it's my water and puts the monitors on me. She has this horrified look on her face and turns to me. She asked if I could feel anything and I said nope. She points to this machine and tells me every time this spikes I'm having contractions. I was like Oh! Cool! Swab comes back positive for my water and off we go to the room. My son was born less than 16 hours after my water broke.

I had nothing going on...felt 100% normal then it was like baby hit the eject button in there and water broke/mucus plug lost/first contraction all at once without warning and baby was born a few hrs later. Contractions never really hurt..just a bit uncomfortable. For me it went from nothing to pushing a baby out real quick. If you arent sure just call your OB or hospital and ask any question you need. But it could also be baby is just wiggling down in preparation. About 36 weeks my little one went from sitting up with her head between my rib cage like a little Buddha statue to head down in the pelvis in one weird dive like motion. It felt like she dove like a swimmer when it happened but she chilled there for 4 weeks until she ejected. Pregnancy is weird. Congrats on the baby and hope you get to meet them soon!!!

I never had any labor signs, no contractions or Braxton Hicks. My water broke out of nowhere at 37 weeks. Went into the hospital and they basically induced me because my body wasn’t ready.

Agree with the contraction part, but I will say that when I first got my contractions they just felt like cramps or like I had to poop, I guess I imagined them much worse than they actually were but I ended up still timing them until they were 5 mins apart and than I went to my doctors office and I was actually in labor and already dilated 6 cm so even if you feel there not bad just go ahead and time them but my baby was that low for like a long time before I even went into labor.

You should be having contractions five minutes apart lasting one minute each for an hour before going to the hospital unless your water breaks first.  Baby probably dropped some and getting into position but you not in labor now
