Potty Training yet?

Share your child’s progress in comments. What has worked well? What hasn’t? What would you have done sooner?

We read Oh Crap: Pottytrainig when our son was 18 months.  He has been fully potty trained (night too) since Easter.  Of course he has some accidents and is only now really adking to use the potty consistently (before we had to prompt).  It is a gamr changer!

No but he randomly decided to poop on the potty the last three days, that was surprising.

She doesn't seem to notice when she needs to go yet. We've tried a couple times but she can never tell when she has to go or doesn't really cares much when she has an accident, so I don't think she's ready just yet

We haven’t fully started. She likes to sit on her potty and we do it most times we change her but she’s still not able to tell us when she needs to go however she will tell us that she needs changed. Hopefully with starting daycare we get through it faster as they start potty training in the 2 year old room

When my son does a poo he either tells me 'poo' or 'stink'. When I go to the toilet he follows me and says wee wee. When he's in the shower and he does a wee he will tell me wee wee. We have had his potty sat in our downstairs toilet for a few months now and he loves to flush the chain on it. He starts pulling on his nappy when he's done a wee. I dont know if these are signs or not, i don't want to try and then set him back.

have been potty training for about a week now, she hasn’t pooped in her diaper for the whole week, and she has some accidents (pee) but mainly because she doesn’t get her pants down in time or because she’s distracted and outside, but I’m proud of her, last night she didn’t pee her diaper and got up this morning and she had a big pee
