Am I pregnant ???

Question

Okay so basically I have been super nauseous everyday and was supposed to get my period today and I’m never late. I take birth control pills and have been taking them for a year now and I always have spotting a day before and I didn’t, and I didn’t get it this morning as well. I took these tests but I see negatives. I swear I feel pregnant. Could it just be the HCG levels aren’t high enough yet even though I’m supposed to get my period today??

It is possible but usually if you are feeling so sick your HCG will be higher enough to show a positive test. The rise in hormone levels cause the symptoms.

I’m not sure what birth control you’re using, but most suppress ovulation. If you’re not ovulating, you couldn’t get/be pregnant. Even the most regular periods can show up a few days earlier or later than expected. The test appears negative. If you’re experiencing pregnancy related symptoms, you will most likely have a positive result on a test. Wait it out another 48-72 hours and see what happens. If your period doesn’t show, retest!
