Have you or do you plan to vacation without your kid(s)?

Question

My parents always took us kids with them on vacation from as long as I can remember. We were recently invited to a kids free vacation at the lake and it breaks my heart the thought of leaving him, especially for a vacation. I want to spend that time with him. What do you guys think?

We’re taking our little one on our Honeymoon to Barbados in November. I can’t bare the thought of going without her. Plus I’m excited to watch her see new things.

Both!
When our first was one, we went on a grown-ups trip to Nashville and last year, we took him to Disney. You need time to be a family and you need time to be a grown up. It’s okay to do both. :)

We have done both. We have been to the beach with kiddos, visited NYC, and a couple smaller vacations. However, we went on a cruise and another year went to Hawaii kid-less. While my oldest (6 at the time) was sad he didn’t get to come with, he was totally ok spending the week with grandma and getting spoiled from her and seeing all of our pictures.
