Implantation or period w/PCOS

Hey ladies! So this is our first cycle ttc and as I have PCOS my periods are really irregular as it is, according to the app I’m 2 dpo...literally only about 2 hours ago I wiped and got a bit of mucky brown stuff so just in case I put in a tampon, I’ve just taken it out and there’s not really much on it, like just little specs... I’m not too sure of the difference between implantation bleeding and period- could this be implantation or does it have to be like fresh red blood??
