Strawberry Fields Forever 🍓 ⠀⠀ If you haven’t tried the water/vinegar soak to clean your fruit... you’re missing out! ⠀⠀ My neighbor @sam told me about it and I cannot believe how clean and fresh it makes my fruit taste! ⠀⠀ It’s also a great and easy learning opportunity to get kids involved: ⠀⠀ Math: Milo helped me measure out the water (3 cups) and vinegar (1 cup). We counted the strawberries as we put them in the water. ⠀⠀ Sensory: we talked about how the Vinegar smelled strong, the water felt cold, the colors we saw and of course how the strawberries tasted! ⠀⠀ Fine motor: handling measuring cups and pincer grasp to handle the strawberries. ⠀⠀ Self-help: Washing our food and cleaning up the cups, towel and bowl! ⠀⠀ Learning experiences are in everything when we know what to look for 🍓 #ipreview via @preview.app
