Are your babies sitting yet?

My little man is 6.5 months and still not sitting tripod. 
His pediatrician didn’t say anything about it so I’m curious others’ experiences.

Just turned 6 months and not sitting. My first baby started at 5 months. Hoping it happens soon.

Turned 6m on 6/3 and just this week is sitting longer unassisted. Still not nearly on her own. Dr wasn’t concerned. I think our first didn’t sit unassisted until 7.5m. Everyone has their own milestones, don’t stress

My son was starting to around 6 months but couldn’t really sit for a few minutes at a time until 7 months. My daughter turned 6 months on the 10th though and she’s been sitting since she turned 6 months. She can go for a few minutes at a time sometimes she does pretty long stretches. Her issue is she leans so far forward for things that she face plants 😅🤦🏼‍♀️. But all babies do things at different times. I don’t think your baby is behind at all. Some babies in this group are crawling, mine isn’t anywhere close to that. I still can’t even get her to lay on her tummy for more than a minute.

My little man was sitting up with help till five months. He never cared to roll over just wanted to sit at three months. I would sit on floor behind him and he was content. My family said it was because he’s a big base with his chunky thighs but every baby is different.

Yes he can sit by himself, he can lay down and roll over, he can crawl, and he can pull himself up on to his feet

Mine is sitting unassisted for bits at a time but I feel like by 7 months he will be sitting like a pro. He just turned six months. He doesn’t roll and hates tummy time 😂

My baby can sit if I sit him down but he prefers tummy time because he likes to scoot around army style. But he does sit very well in his high chair

She sits completely unsupported and stands with something to hold onto! Still no signs of crawling though.
