What are the chances of having blocked tubes

If there’s no risk factors and so far the only factor is male!?

I had an HSG done as part of a fertility work up. I had no reason whatsoever to think I had any issues with my tubes, so I was surprised to learn that I had a Hydrosalpinx in my L tube and had surgery to remove it. My OB said I may have had a cyst burst at some point that created scar tissue and it was only around the left ovary/tube. I had an endometrioma she also removed. I had no idea. My right side was just fine. We also had slight male factor. Ended up going through IVF to have my now 1 year old! If it’s been awhile (a year or more) and you haven’t conceived, it’s 100% worth having the test to rule out any issues with tubes.

There’s really no way to know if you have blocked tubes or not without the test. We were 100% confident I was fine but did the test anyway, and then we knew for sure we weren’t going to waste time and money while my tubes were blocked.

We also have mfi, been ttc for almost 2 years have never felt pregnant. I also fear my tubes maybe be blocked I am going to haven them checked at the end of July
