So me and my husband are going a a weekend trip we are taking our 4 year old with us but our 8 month old we are leaving with my mom she agreed to watch him here at our home since everything he needs is here he is comfortable here with her .

But my mom is now telling me she is going have my 14 year old brother come stay the days with her here I don’t mind but when he is here he literally eats everything in our house I’m taking drink after drink chip bag after chip bag even when he’s not hungry he eats . He’s very comfortable at our home and I don’t mind the snacking but he dose it the whole time he visits us he opens the fridge and gets drink after drink after drink when he leaves we end up with nothing not lying lol . Then we don’t have drinks for lunches to take for work .

So I don’t wanna seem mean but should I hide things I don’t want gone I feel weird hiding food but he’s going be here with my mom Friday Saturday Sunday and yea I don’t mind they eat or cook but I do mind not having any snacks left for lunches 🤨 what should I do guys ?
