Have you had/or plan on having a date night before the baby gets here?

We have a date night every Friday after our son goes to sleep. We turn our living room into a little movie theatre and get boxes of candy and popcorn and rent a movie, or we order a special meal from takeout. Sometimes we play board games or come up with some activity to do at home. We also make it a point to journal and have a good conversation together at the end of the date. We’ve done this since my son was born and it got harder to go out, but it’s gotten even more creative since Covid and the stay at home orders.

So funny to see this post! actually friends of my husband and I offered to keep our son to stay the night this Thursday at their house to play with their son. Me and my husband looked at each other and said “Date Night”😁😁😁😁😁

Just booked the babysitter for this Saturday! We are just going to go out to dinner and maybe do Top Golf or mini golf. We have a 2 year old now so once baby comes, god knows when we will have time for a date.
