From what age did you provide your baby with gripe water?

Whatever the age suggestion was on the box. I can’t remember exactly what it was, I’ve got a feeling 4 weeks maybe? But it was a life saver!!

My son got it for the first time at 3-4 weeks. He was completely inconsolable and I called the doctor and he told me to try it. It worked in like, 10 minutes. I was astonished, and then felt guilty because I had thought to give it to him earlier but decided against it, causing him to be upset for nearly 3 hours before I called the doctor :-(

I haven’t given my baby any yet but I have some on hand. Question, is the dosage right? It says I can give my 2 month old 5 mL.. but that just seems like a lot!
