Is there any birth control that doesn’t make you gain weight 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m 5’4 & now I’m 238 lbs . I was 175 before my son & now I’m 238 lbs . Any recommendations ?

Try something non hormonal? I think that would be your best bet. Copper iud?

Girl exercise and eating clean really does help keep the weight down. It doesn’t prevent you from gaining initially but it can shed the weight off and keep it like that if you’re consistent. And honestly, after how much damage the pill caused to my body, I stopped talking it completely. I know it’s usually men who don’t like it but a condom is your best bet if you don’t want any hormones.

Ask about progesterone only birth control pills! I gained so much weight on the depo shot that my blood pressure got too high. That is what they prescribed me and I didn't gain any weight on it!

lots of people say that the shot is very risky and is one of the only ones that actually makes you gain weight, now ofc i’m not sure abt it but i know other forms increase your hunger. It just depends on what you eat to make you gain weight

Have you tried the patch? I’ve been on it twice and remained my weight of 107 lbs.

I’m on Loloestrin fe. I don’t think i gained weight from it. Barely any side effects. I was spotting in the beginning. Now i barley get a period. I get headaches but that’s normal. I tried the iud last year worst pain ever.. and my periods lasted almost two weeks so painful too heavy. I got it taken out after three months. Now on the pill.

I’m on the pill loloestregen fe. I love it no weight gain, barely a period, no acne. Sometimes I get hot flashes but it’s worth it. Never gotten pregnant. I’d rather take hot flashes over a pregnancy I wasn’t planning for because I won’t abort my child. :D
