what does back contractions feel like ..

i’ve always struggled with back pain since i had my son , ive had a lot of back aches throughout this pregnancy 
i have noticed sometimes instead of a contraction my lower back tenses up and becomes sore and then will go away .. does that count as a contraction ? or no because it’s in my back instead ? i’ve never had “back labour” so i’m unsure

Yes that’s back contractions that what I had for my second baby it gets worse but start timing those incase they are true contractions these could just be Braxton Hicks

I had back labour with my 3rd, it was hell. Give me normal contractions anyday.

I had back labor with my first. I felt a ton of pressure on my lower back, as if it was tightening and releasing. I figured they were contractions once they were happening a couple mins apart. The more dilated I got, the more intense!
