My son is 3 weeks old today. He failed his hearing test in the hospital in both ears. But no one was concerned because he was a “meconium baby”. But we still had to go see a specialist for precaution. We had our appointment this past Monday and he failed again in both ears. I’ve been an emotional wreck. I told them we know he can hear us. He reacts to things at home and she said it could be different frequencies because he had zero fluid in his ears and his ear drums looked perfect. So now we have to go see another specialist that will do a more in depth study. Prayers he passes and he will be fine. I’ve been so emotional since Monday 😥
