Uppababy cruz and car seat

Question

Hi does anyone have the Cruz stroller and a chico key fit car seat ?? I want to get the chicco but the adapter is $40 so I’m thinking to might as well get the uppababy mesa car seat which does not need an adapter and will only be like $30 more. Anyone have experience with either car seat ?? The stroller I’m not changing.

We used the Mesa. I’m generally inclined to use the item that doesn’t need an adapter. I will use the same seat if we have another baby.
I would recommend testing out the cruz before you buy it. We have one and the push is just atrocious on any surface that isn’t perfectly smooth. It’s literally the last stroller I choose, and that includes a travel stroller with tiny wheels. If you are dead set on uppa, go with a vista. The push is much better!

I feel the mesa is so heavy. If you're getting the cruz v2 you will love it if you haven't already tested. Major improvements from the 2019 version. I like the maxi cosi. We now have their convertible Magellan max. Love maxi cosi and our cruz v2.
