Do i have to get something prescribed to me if i have hemorroid ?

So im pregnant and been dealing with a hemorroid for 2 weeks now.. it was bad at first i bleed pinkish blood just a little drop for 2 days but it went away . Now im just dealing with itchiness and some discomfort alittle.. no blood when i poop. Im embarrassed to go to the doctor for that so i was wondering if there’s anything i can take for it like a cream to buy  ? ..

U can put witch hazel on a cotton pad and put it sitting on your bum that is a natural remedy

I’m sure there are many over the counter creams but I know a doc would prescribe you something. Try not to think of it as embarrassing. It’s so common and no one (especially the doctors office) is judging! If you ignore it though it could get worse so just call the doc. Can you use wet wipes? Toilet paper doesn’t make it any better. Also drink a ton of water.

You could buy prep h from the drugstore and tucks wipes help as well. Personally I needed a prescription cream as prep h didn’t do a damn thing for me but I had pretty decent pain so if it’s just the itchiness the prep h may help. The tucks help soothe when you wipe they like cool the area so you don’t have that uncomfortable just ripped 5 layers of skin off feeling
