Is it better to BD on or before ovulation? What was the case for you?

Before. Studies show your best chances are the 2-3 days before ovulation. Having sex the day of is statistically more likely to result in miscarriage and the day after is less likely to result in pregnancy as the egg only has a lifespan of between 12-24 hours, max.

My doctor said to go every other day and if you have a typical 28 day cycle - day 11,13,15,17. 
In my opinion, if you can only pick one day, go for before . The sperm can wait for up to 5 days for the egg to drop. So if the sperm arrives early, it should be no issue.

So I have two babies. Didn’t have a problem getting pregnant with either of them. This time is taking longer. So at my annual doctors appointment, my doctor told me to make sure I’m not quitting too soon. She said many women will stop having sex too soon after the positive opk. She wasn’t worried about me having sex on my ovulation day. She didn’t say to make sure I missed that day due to possible miscarriage. 😉 she said to continue having sex a couple days after also. So like.. day 10, 12, 14, on positive and two days afterwards. Basically making sure you hit the egg.
