Hey y’all so I’m 5 months postpartum with my wonderful baby girl. I started the Nuva ring and (like I had done before) I decided to “skip” a month of my period. So it had been 42 total days since the first day of my last period.

I started my period late last night (Tuesday) and this morning I woke up to this (photo below) I had mild cramping but nothing more than normal and my blood is actually less than what it normally is during the first day of my period.

Looking at this, it looks like to me a sack, a fetus and the umbilical cord.

I called my doc and I have an exam scheduled for tomorrow morning.

What do y’all think?
