SO not reacted way I hoped?

We were actively ttc
Just don’t think he thought it would happen this soon
I can tell he’s glad but he said it’s not quite sunk in yet and that’s why he doesn’t seem excited or anything and it’s worrying me. I know I’m probably over thinking because he did give me a big cuddle when I showed him the test I just thought it would seem different ?

We were actively trying and I cautioned my husband it would probably take around 6 months and we got pregnant my first cycle.  He was happy but didnt quite expect it so soon and he got really excited seeing the heartbeat but otherwise acted like he didn't care or wasn't excited about baby.  When I talked to him about it he was very honest and said it just didnt feel real.  After baby showed up he was sooo happy and adored her and for two years now has been the happiest most supportive and loving father ever.

My husband was just in shock and taking it all in. Also he apparently doesn’t like surprises so I caught him off guard. I was super bummed he didn’t seem excited but he’s already talking about baby stuff and today he even asked when we can find out the gender so he’s slowly coming around lol. Men just don’t get as excited as women about things it seems. I’ve once heard women become mothers the second they are pregnant and men become fathers the second they see their baby.

My husband was so chocked the first time and I was over the moon and he didn't seem to be. Which confused me. But once I had my first ultrasound and he heard/saw baby and heartbeat, it really sunk in and he cried❤️
