What is the “Bloody Show?”

Hi all! FTM here and seeing a lot about Bloody shows...I’ve never heard of this before and I’m pretty familiar with pregnancy! What is it?

Never lost my mucus plug but I had my bloody show at 37 weeks it was horrible

Something that happens towards the end of labor that can be a sign of labor. I never experienced it with my first pregnancy

It usually comes after losing mucus plug, but mucus plug can be lost at any point and regenerate. Its the last piece of mucus plug mixed with blood. Doesnt mean labor will occur soon though.
