Spotting during luteal phase with IUD

So I’ve had my IUD a year this month. I have noticed the past few months I’ve been spotting (pink when I wipe/sometimes a small amount of blood in my panties) the whole week before my period. It’s happened before but more consistently lately. I read up on the timing and I saw it’s low progesterone related possibly? Also it makes me question whether maybe I’m spotting because an egg tried to implant and can’t because of my IUD? I’m not upset by this just crossed my mind and made me curious. Or is it just maybe rushed shedding because my device irritates the lining? Thoughts? My IUD is copper and non hormonal by the way. AND I have been super stressed lately (who hasn’t?! 😂😅) so maybe that’s it?
