Trying for #2?

Anyone else thinking of trying for another baby this fall? We want ours close in age, I was thinking more like 3 years but the current situation of not being able to travel, working from home actually has me tempted to go for a two year age gap. Is that a bad idea? I know pregnancy during COVID is no joke, but it's so appealing to think about doing the morning sickness and exhaustion while I'm working in sweats on my couch...

Pregnant with baby number 2! Yes Covid is always something to consider in decision making but I figure I am being as careful as possible for my LO that adding pregnancy on top of it I am already doing everything I can to stay safe my quarantine life won’t change. Also, it feels good to have a young one during my first trimester bc she still naps good and long so if I’m having an off day there are breaks and I’m able to get myself together! 
We were originally going to wait until next summer and this summer be our “fun summer” but with quarantine we’ve got no plans coming up, no commitments, and we’re hanging at home so figure this is a good time to be pregnant for a few reasons and hopefully by next summer a vaccine will be out and that can b our “fun summer” lol

Our October 2019 baby is our second. Our oldest was born December 2017. After he turned 1 we were like “Maybe sometime this year” and then got pregnant January 2019. Our kiddos are 22 months apart and it’s perfect. When our daughter was born, our son was so young he basically doesn’t know life without her. He didn’t really have any jealousy issues. He’s 2.5 now and I think if we had a baby now he would be SUPER jealous but not old enough to really explain a lot to him. Idk we want 4 total so I’m sure someone’s age gap will be a rough one at some point. We just potty trained at the start of quarantine bc we weren’t going anywhere anyway and I think trying to potty train with a brand new baby would be hard bc there would be a lot of adjustments at one time. Our daughter was 5 months old when we potty trained our son

Yup, we plan on starting in September or October. I’m 35 and my husband is 42, so we aren’t getting any younger. It feels weird (yet exciting) to think that I might be pregnant again so soon though!
