Currently 36+4 this is what my contractions are looking like tonight. They aren’t super painful so I don’t want to waste time going to L&D. I have an ultrasound at 8am Figure I’ll just wait till contractions are unbearable.. I’m a FTM, is this a bad idea?

I'm in #4. My ob reminded me to follow the 5-1-1 rule. 5 minutes apart, each lasting at least one minute, for one full hour. I think it was 3-1-1 when I had my first. Just call your ob or midwife and ask what they like you to be at before you go in.

They are still pretty far apart. I would see what they say at your ultrasound.

I was told to go in when they were 2-3 mins apart, or 5 mins if you have had a child before. But I would call your L&D triage just to be sure and see what they want you to do, I don’t know what the cut off for the steroids shots are to make sure baby’s lungs are developed but I may be induced this weekend at 36 weeks so I have received them. It’s always best to talk to L&D about concerns like this. :)
