Where does baby hang out?

Question

At my last doctor app, we heard baby's heartbeat by my pelvis even though the top on my uterus is belly button level. I can also feel baby kick my lower abdomen. Seems he or she simply likes hanging out at the bottom, anybody else's baby like to hang low?

My baby girl likes to hang out right in the middle during the day and way low at night. I feel like during the day she stretches herself as much as she can then chills like that the rest of the day. I also feel like she hangs out facing my back because of how immense my back pains been, guess she's just having a good ole time kicking my spine. :) So in love anyways. :)

My little guy is definitely low. I feel him rolling around near my pelvic bone, almost like I'm riding a bike that's a little bumpy. I'm yet to feel much of anything near my abdomen. Every ultrasound so far they've found the heartbeat at my bikini line or lower.

How much can they move around at this point? I was looking it up the other day and couldn't find it. If the uterus is the size of a cantaloupe and they're an onion, there should be some room for movement, right?
