Anyone have a uterine infection after birth?

A week post partum I had sharp stabbing pains in my uterus and felt flu-y. Also had yellow discharge/lochia that smelt awful.

My OBGYN called me in antibiotics. After a while the smell and color discharge went away but the pain hasn’t.

It has become very localized in the bottom right quadrant of my abdomen. When I called they said give the antibiotics a chance to work some more and the pain should go away but call Monday if it’s not better, but it honestly awful and idk if every thing is okay or not. Could it be inflammation from my infection or what is this? I’m two and a half weeks post partum
