Has anyone gotten pregnant while on birth control?

Question

If you have:
How did you know you were? 
(I mean I have 2 kids so I know when to take a test when not on BC.)
What made you take a test while on BC? Did you miss a period? 
Or did you bleed irregularly? 
Did you just have pregnancy symptoms?
Did everything turn out okay or was there complications from being on BC when you got pregnant? 
What kind of BC?

Any info you have would be helpful, thanks!

I got pregnant at 16 on Bc. I took it regularly. My period was late so I took a couple tests all were bfps. And my period was very regular on Bc.

I did while using the IUD & while on the pill. With the IUD I found out due to having morning sickness. With the pill I took the blank pills and never got my period again to be able to start the next cycle.

I was taking birth control for 3 months, I realized my period was a week late and boom obvious positive.

I didn't have a placebo week. I was taking the pills continuous.  So I would have a regular period at random times. I never knew when it would happen. (I was on bc for around 1.5 months when I got pregnant).

I was on birth control for 6 years and got pregnant. It was low estren. I think that's how you spell it not sure. My period was always on time. Always came on the first of every month. So I was about 6 days late and decided to take a test and sure enough came out positive. I'm 18 weeks and a few days. And having a healthy baby girl :)

I was on the pill when I got pregnant with my daughter. My period was late, but I was also irregular. My daughter was born small but completely healthy. :)
