Dumb question, but do Braxton Hicks contractions hurt?

Hey mamas! I know this sounds silly, but google was giving me conflicting answers. Do Braxton hick contractions hurt? 34 weeks I’ve been super super physical the last few days with work, and tonight I’m having what I think are Braxton Hicks, but they are very very painful

Mine got pretty uncomfortable at times but they feel more like a tightening of the stomach versus the feeling of regular contractions which feel more like period cramping.

Not painful unless I moved quickly or stood up during one. More so just uncomfortable and a lot of pressure.

I’m 35 weeks and they’re getting more intense. More so uncomfortable and annoying than painful, but some of them are a little.
If they’re painful to you, i would monitor them and time them to make sure they’re not true contractions, too. Yesterday at my NST, i was having consistent contractions every 5 mins so i had to go to l&d to get monitored longer but everything was ok thankfully but better safe than sorry

I don’t think they’re supposed to. However, when I was pregnant with my second baby, I had THE WORST BH Contractions and I couldn’t even walk they hurt so bad. It honestly felt like labor. I guess it varies for everyone

Mine were definitely uncomfortable, and at times painful. But there’s was a definitive difference in labor contractions.
