Haemorrogic cyst

Hey everyone,

Not looking for medical advice, just reaching out on ways to cope.

I went to ED on Monday and they found that I had a cyst, was only 18mm. I've had bigger cysts before and it blew my mind how much pain I was in for something so small.

I tried to continue to go to work and on Thursday morning I was feeling okay, got to work and all of a sudden I did not feel well at all. Dizziness, sudden intense pain. Something did not feel right. Was taken back to ED and they did an urgent ultrasound.

It was found that my cyst had doubled in size and was bleeding into my ovary and into my abdomen. Has anyone had this happen before? how did you cope with the pain? I asked if I could be dc home and they said to represent if I couldn't get ontop of the pain but just trying to managed it at home with pain relief and heat packs.
