Water breaks without contractions !?

Mamitas help how do I know if my wanter breaks !? Please tell your experiences

I was laying on the couch trying to fall asleep when I felt a weird pop/pain thought maybe baby kicked my vajay. But 15 seconds later all I felt was water coming out. When it wouldn’t stop pouring out I knew that’s what it was. It was pinkish/clear.

My water broke after I had gone to the bathroom. I got up to continue cooking at the stove and I was leaking a bit... I thought it odd, like maybe I didn’t finish peeing. So went back but didn’t have to “pee” but kept leaking. That’s how I knew 🙂 and of course it just kept leaking and leaking... so much fluid in there!!

With my first two kids I only had a little trickle and then nothing more. I had to go to the hospital and did all three tests. The first two were negative w both of them and the third was positive (the test where they swab you and go look for amniotic fluid under a microscope) turns out the baby’s head clogged the water bag so it wasn’t letting any liquid out 😂. If you think your water broke you can always go in and let them test you. Better safe than sorry :)

Yes I was trying to find a comfortable spot in bed to sleep so I put my leg on my husband and i felt a pop. At first I wasn't sure then I move to my right side to find another comfortable stop and thats when I felt the gush and immediately stood up and it just gushed out. No cramps, pains or contractions before that pop. Light cramping started 20 mins after and  Contractions started 40 mins after.

You will definitely know! I woke up one morning, rolled over in bed and felt a gush of fluid. I put a maxi pad on and walked around a little and felt more fluid little by little. I soaked through two pairs of pants and 3 pads within an hour. So I went to L&D and they confirmed it was my water. I started getting contractions about 5 minutes after getting to the hospital!

With our first baby, my water broke around 4:30 am, I felt that I needed to go to the bathroom really bad, and all the liquid was green-ish, so I figured out it was time... And it was. 
With our second baby, I kept going to the bathroom like every five minutes,my mil thought it was my water breaking so we went to to the hospital, I put pad on and by the time we got to he hospital it was soak.
With our third, my doctor broke my water at the hospital, I labor at home for about two hours before going to the hospital.
Now we are expecting our fourth baby any day now.
