Hey ladies,

I have been speaking to a guy for 1 week. It’s early days but we have been speaking every day, then we video call every evening for a few hours.

We talk about deep topics because we are Christians and we are actively courting so deep questions are asked.

Yesterday’s convo was heavy for the both of us. We both have similar stories. We met our partner, started dating after two weeks, which lasted almost 7 years. The only difference is mine ended almost 2 years ago and his ended 4 months ago. I found this out yesterday.

I went deeper into the convo and my intuition told me that he’s not completely over her after being left because he said sometimes he has random thoughts.

I don’t want to get hurt so I said it’s best we pause, continue to build our friendship but he has my full support.

The only issue is that I have had 2 solid confirmations from God that this is the man for me, so I’m very torn. I said he can fully heal and if feelings are still there, then we can resume. I feel as though I am happy to wait and only because I received my confirmations but I don’t know if I should tell him that when we talk tonight.
