I’m too easy

My mum really gets in my head sometimes about boys she always tells me “you need to play hard to get” and “treat em mean keep them keen”. I’ve told her I’m not about that like if I want to see someone or they want to see me then if I’m free I will.

I’m casually seeing this guy now and I tell her that “oh were going to hang out he isn’t free this day so I said we could do this day or he said if I’m free then we can hang out then” or I tell her “hey so and so what’s to hang out tonight I said yes.

Now today I said to her he’s not free when I am and he’s only free the day I’m hanging with a friend in the early afternoon and so I said I will ask if he wants to hang out later.

My mum and I got into an argument and she’s like you can’t just drop everything for him you need to say no sometimes. You can let expect you to always be available when he wants and I’m just like seriously that’s petty bullshit.

Like does she have point that I’m not seeing??
