Sweet Baby knows what mommy needs

This is my first time being sick since having my baby. Not sure what’s wrong, I think it’s my gallbladder. I woke up in pain and nauseous. I noticed my baby was awake (he didn’t cry or fuss, was just awake in his bassinet), so I decided to nurse him. About 8 minutes in I knew I couldn’t wait anymore, I needed to throw up NOW! I kind of abruptly stuck a pacifier in his mouth and put him back in his bassinet. Usually after nursing he whimpers a bit after being put back down, or he’ll cry because his paci fell out, but this time he didn’t make a peep and put himself back to sleep while mommy hurled in the bathroom.

I feel like there are times he just knows what I need. He is such a sweet, considerate little guy even at 6 weeks old!

Update: He only woke once more to eat then even let me sleep until after 9! Lately he has been not going back down after his 5:45 feeding. Maybe he is tired too. Sweet baby is still asleep at 9:15 am!
