High OPK, lower BBT?

First time temping and I got a high OPK this morning i just thought that was odd or is it totally normal?

You need to chart these temps to visualize the patterns.

OPKs indicate that ovulation might happen soon, but you would expect an increase in BBT *after* ovulation actually occurs. So watch for increased temps the next few days, and if you get at least 3 that are higher than the prior 6 - you’ve ovulated.
