Surviving the two week wait
Hi all- my husband and I lost our first pregnancy in March, and we started trying again in early May. I’m now in the two week wait, and the thoughts are killing me. I feel like I start out so hopeful and my brain and body makes me think we have been unsuccessful before we even get to my expected period. I know that PMS symptoms are so close to those of early pregnancy, but after a loss, it’s that much harder to not despair, especially because I’m 34 and everyone is telling me my “clock is ticking.” I know doubting isn’t going to change the outcome of we have been successful, but I guess I’m just being superstitious. Any success stories or tips for getting through?? I don’t believe in god, so I don’t pray, but trying to do my best to think positively...
