Copper IUD : Light Brown Discharge

I had a copper IUD put in about 5 months ago. I have a regular period. But today (4 days after my period) I have a light brown discharge, no smell with some mild cramps and the random stabbing-doubled-over-in-pain cramps that will last 2-5 minutes. Any advice?
