I was just wondering if anyone’s let their family come hold their baby yet? I’m still so overly anxious and scared about people coming and touching him and holding him.

He’s 11 weeks old today, and so far everyone has only seen him from a distance. My partner thinks it’s time to start letting people hold him and for him to be properly introduced to everyone but I honestly think it’s still too soon, but as my partner keeps saying is there ever going to be the right time?

Covid is obviously going to be around for a long time now and I guess we can’t avoid it forever. I’m just so worried about my son catching the virus but also I’m just as worried if me or my partner catch it and get it as bad as the media makes it out because we’re not going to be able to look after him.

I just don’t know what to do! All of my partners family are key workers, and my family have just started going back to work after being fur-loughed for the past few months so there’s a risk now with both families.

Any advice is muchly appreciated. Tia xx
