Glow ambassador?

Question

What does it mean when a user has a pink circle around their photo? What exactly makes them an “ambassador” ? Just been seeing it a lot and I was wondering!

Reported the post for spam. Obviously, it’s a PR induced thing because anything negative that’s said gets deleted. Clearly, Ambassadors (at least this one) cannot accept others’ opinions, will reply to it with some stupid defense, and then report it before the commenter can even read what they said. 
It’s kind of sad a mean girl’s club represents this app and is identified as some kind of leadership.

I randomly got a message offering for me to be an ambassador but they want you to promote Glow on your social media in order to do it and I’m not interested in doing that.

Being a Glow Ambassador is a privilege not all get, of course you get extra perks being one, you get Premium free, you get to try new content before its released, etc. You do NOT have to promote Glow at all, you do have to have an Instagram account to verify but you can make one and delete it right away. They just want you to post in community and help others if possible. It’s a 6 month trial period, and based on what you’ve done I that time you can continue being an ambassador or you lose the privilege.

I'm not sure what they do but I've discovered that they can choose how many followers they have, how many upvotes each post gets, and promote things like products they get a small commission for each click type situation or their own YouTube channel and such. It appears to just be a fake popularity thing for people who are social media influencers and free promotion for Glow in places they don't want to pay advertising for. Check out the stats on the channel I found. I blacked out identifying things so this comment doesn't count as calling others out. Each of her posts have over a thousand upvotes. There was a point that brought her account to my attention, she posted 10 videos in a row. Each video had like 2.4k upvotes with 0 views. There was even a video that has 12.5k upvotes and had 5 views!  I find it absolutely crazy that this is allowed.

I got an invite to be an ambassador but I don’t use Instagram very much, and I already have premium so I’d like to know if that subscription would be refunded (but of course not canceled) and I don’t see anywhere official to ask, other than replying to the invite which I did and they didn’t answer. 
Ultimately if it’s just “free premium for posting to Instagram” I probably wouldn’t bother anyway, unless I only have to post “check out Glow” like once and also get that refund. Still don’t care all that much.
