Baby laundry ????

Question

How do you wash your baby’s clothes? 
I know there are special detergents for newborns like dreft, baby ganics... but no softeners? I’ve read it has to be special detergents or it can irritate the baby’s skin? 
But I washed my baby’s clothes with dreft and I noticed some of the clothes came out stiff af omg pls don’t judge but i feel bad putting my baby in stiff ass clothes😩 you can’t use softener for baby’s clothes right?

Just use a normal detergent without dye and fragrance. It's pretty pointless to wash baby's clothes in a separate detergent as baby will come in contact with your clothes/towels/sheets regardless.

We just use Arm & Hammer. Usually unscented. Oftentimes regular detergents are fine unless you try it and baby ends up being sensitive.

We use Tide free and clear and bounce free and clear.  My husband and I both are allergic to some soaps, so we went with the free and clear versions of what we already use.  Any free and clear is fine.  Dreft is way over scented for me, so I couldn't imagine for a baby.

We use Seventh Generation Free and Clear detergent on our whole family's clothes so baby's gets washed with that too. My family is sensitive to smells so we use unscented everything.

I literally just wash my sons clothes with mine. I have a 5 month old. Before he was born I did the whole dreft thing to prepare all of his stuff & sometimes when I do his blankets but honestly it’s doing the most he’s perfectly fine.

I use all clear and free with a very little bit of softener. :) whatever detergent and softner you use is good too.

I washed the clothes with dreft and it smelled horrible so I re washed with our detergent and never used any other. I’ll never use any special one. And I definitely use fabric softener too.
