Gay cake dispute

🌹C

So this is kind of an older case but thought it might be interesting to some of you.

Short summary is that a gay couple entering a same sex marriage ordered a wedding cake, however the bakery is run by Christians and refused to make the cake as its against their beliefs.

Do they have the right to not bake a cake due to their own beliefs, or is it direct discrimination?

Shouldn’t a business put their belief to one side for the customer?
