When does nesting start?

Is it diff for everyone or what im tires of being tired , i pick up through out the day do dishes an cook but im dragging hard

I think it's different for everyone. Also it's so unique to your life. We don't have a big house, I can't do the whole nursery do over. There's no painting the nursery for me or setting up the cot. We have a small apartment (based in Ireland so everything is tiny) so we have been slowly trying to make space and de-clutter and that has been nesting for me. Tidying and cleaning. It's been overwhelming at times so I sorta made a mental note of things I could change and that's what I focus on. It's been slow. Like one little change a week (I work so I only have weekends). So you see, it's different for everyone cause we all have unique life circumstances.
I consider buying baby clothes, talking to mum about what I am buying and what she is buying nesting. Cleaning my house every week and thinking about scrubbing some extra bit more vigorously because of baby nesting 🤷🏻‍♀️

It started recently for me at 31 weeks. I got the biggest urge to clean and organize when I got a GIANT delivery of baby stuff from Amazon and it gave me the motivation to get everything together and sorted.

I want to buy a bunch of baskets to make stations for breastfeeding and postpartum but everything I need to organize costs money

It doesn’t always happen 😬😬😬. But with my first I had nesting spurts from like 27 weeks thru 35 weeks. And then had her at 35 weeks. When it does happen you basically can finally push through the tiredness and pain lol. I’m 32 weeks now and we’ve been tackling a lot of stuff in case I go early again.

I’m a FTM and I think I’ve been nesting since around 20 something weeks.. cleaning random things like the inside of my toaster, coffee maker, cupboards, other rooms in the house.. that craziness slowly went away and I’m now 33 w 4 days. And I think maybe it’s just started back up. I’ve washed all the sheets, cleaned out my one fridge and freezer, washed all her stuff, gave pups a bath etc. I’ve heard sometimes it doesn’t always happen

I don’t remember when I got it but I had it with all 3 of my previous pregnancies and this time I’m 34+ weeks and starting to worry I’m not going to get it this time bc I’m pretty sure it was earlier than this with the others but it’s been years so I honestly don’t remember 🤦‍♀️

With my first it started around 25 weeks. With my second, it’s been almost instantaneous. I have wanted to make sure I have all the things done that I didn’t do with my first. Plus, it doesn’t help that we just sold our house and bought another, so I’ve been trying to organize for a move.

Never had it with my first and haven’t had it yet with my second my mom said she never had it except maybe 4 hours before she went into labor one time
