period or too much physical activity?

mamas I need your help 😭 6 weeks pp (as of Sunday 6/28) and I got cleared for exercise last Friday 6/26) so i started light cardio on Monday and Tuesday of this week, yesterday I walked 6.5 miles with a friend, and today I am full on bleeding and have had 2 quarter sized clots.

as of Sunday 6/28 I was having right sided pain consistent with ovulation (it’s been happening to me for as long as I can remember) and so I thought maybe in 2ish weeks I would have my period back, but here we are 4 days post (what I thought was) ovulation and I’m bleeding.

- I’m not in pain or cramping

- not filling a pad in an hour or less

- no pain in/around c section scar

- otherwise generally feel fine

- I did notice a dip in my milk supply so I thought maybe hormonal change from period?

my question is, should I contact my OB? do you think this could be the result of too much exercise and my body wasn’t ready? or period? any insight appreciated
