Heeelllp

So I've seen a million posts on tantrums but barely paid attention. This week I am struggling SO BAD. Normally I can distract him and it's over within minutes. This week.. he will cry and scream for up to an hour until I cave and put on little baby bum/ give a soother. I literally don't know what the eff to do. I've tried ignoring, holding him and even talking him through it but I really don't feel like he's old enough to understand. What do you guys do in these situations? I find my patience wears thin and I get SO frustrated, I just can't stand to hear him scream all the time 😫
