Fireworks

People have been doing them since 8pm and it's now nearly 11pm. We have 4 dogs, who of course hate the loud noise, but the one in particular gets really scared. I don't know how long she was there, but before we got her from the pound she was rescued from a life of dog fighting. I can't believe anyone would put an animal through such a thing, but she has a good home now and has learned how to be a real dog. She's the sweetest there is.

Loud unexpected noises cause me to flinch and cover my ears, so I cant only imagine how our dogs (mainly the skiddish one) feel.

I understand why people do them, but I really wish they would stick to doing them 2, maybe 3, times a year for the sake of the animals and people with PTSD.
