Distressed baby 😣

My son is almost 6 weeks old and for the past few days has started to get into a routine, but I am really struggling in the evening.

He wakes up around 8am and will sleep/feed/play during the day without any issues. He takes between 2-4oz per feed depending on how tired he is and will go down to bed for the night at 9.30pm but 1-2 hours before going down for the night he absolutely screams.

We offer milk and he refuses to take the bottle, try and give the dummy which he takes fine during the day and night feeds but he spits it out, we change his nappy, he poos and burps but is still absolutely distraught.

I can eventually calm him down and he settles for bed and then sleeps between 4-6 hours before waking for his first night feed.

Any other mumma's experiencing anything like this? It breaks my heart when he cries like that and it seems to happen around the same time every night but I don't know why 🤷
