Is CD 5 too late to see Dr. and start follistim AQ?

Because of the holiday weekend and the office being closed I am not able to schedule seeing my Dr Monday for the start of this months cycle.... CD was Friday... If they can get me in Tuesday I would be on CD 5... Just wondering if that is still an option or should we take this month off and have fun on our own...

I agree with above poster. You should go in for the baseline testing. You still may be able to start depending on the follicle sizes and bloodwork (progesterone & E2 levels).

Its worth it to at least do the scan. If you already have a domininant follicle, they probably won't start you on anything but I once went in cd 8 (had to wait until hsg test was done) and had no dominant follicle yet and was able to start clomid
