Him canceling on me?

Okay, so I’ve been talking to this guy for a while now and we’ve talked about him coming over tonight cause I’m alone for the week. He wasn’t sure if he could make it since tomorrow morning he’s got an exam. So long story short he ended up canceling “the date” tonight because of the exam and asked if he could come tomorrow night? I know I probably shouldn’t be mad about it but I kinda am and I don’t know if I should be cool with it and leave it for tomorrow...Thoughts?

I mean he’s not canceling he’s just rescheduling so he can get enough rest for his exam. I wouldn’t be mad since he is still wanting to come over.

He told you in advance he has an exam and might not be able to make it. You have no right to be mad at him. Can you be upset that things didn't go to plan? absolutely. But you shouldn't be mad or upset with him. Besides, you said you have the entire week to see him, what's wrong with rescheduling with him at a time that suits you both?
That aside, it's not reasonable to get mad with people if they can't make plans they've made with you. That's life.
I hope you give him a break and reschedule for a later day that suits you both so you can both enjoy it.

He’s considerate enough to call ahead of time and offer to make up the missed date in less than 24 hours. Sounds like he really wants to go on this date. School is the priority at this moment but he won’t be a student forever. I’d reschedule and let it go. If this becomes a regular thing, you can reconsider him but otherwise, this is nothing.
