This is so strange to write about, but my sister in law just had a baby, she was just in the hospital for a day and her dad and mom were so ready to see the baby- they saw him within two hours of him coming home. I am not pregnant, but I’m terrified my parent in laws will do this. I don’t want anyone around me at the hospital when I have the baby except my husband, and I don’t want anyone over at the house... until I’m ready. My husband and I talked about it and he doesn’t see the big deal, but I’d like for us to be on the same page when we do have a baby.

How do you establish boundaries? My husband his so close to his parents and I love them, but I also don’t want people holding my baby until I’m ready.
